I was really excited to read this book. After Melissa Marr's depiction of cruel and cold fairies, I thought Wings would be a bit softer and fairy-tale-like.I liked this book, but I should have known that it wouldn't be as good as I wanted it to be from the review on the cover by Stephanie Meyer. This book read somewhat like one of Meyers' books, although slightly more juvenile. I enjoyed the story and the characters, but I felt that they were a little two dimensional. I felt like the entire book's purpose was to set up for another book, when there was a lot of fluff that could have been trimmed and the substance I feel is coming could have made the book complete now. I was left hanging, but not on the edge of my seat and not feeling like my questions were answered at all. It was lacking.
